We're the first to admit that we've been very, very blessed - especially for such a small, young company. The wardrobe director on the Hilary Duff "Find Your Voice" movie became a friend - and a fan - and when she left the costumer to go to work as the Wardrobe Director for Entertainment Tonight - dressing on-air talent Mary Hart and Jann Carl, we were one of the first calls she made. I about fell off my chair when she told me, "I want Mary and Jann wearing Whirly Girl jewelry all the time!" Wow! And so, if you'll tune into ET, you'll regularly see Mary (she won't share any of the things we send her with Jann!) wearing Clementine Darling jewelry. Some of her favorites to date have been the Natural Mother-of-Pearl choker, the Salsa Choker, all of our 2-strand nugget necklaces with pendants, and the Green Aventurine & SS "Tube" bead choker with a pendant and a crystal. So, watch for Mary and you'll see some of the very things that you see featured on our website or at our jewelry parties!

Lackson, Sandra Bullock, Hilary Duff, Hilary Swank, Nicole Kidman, Adam Sandler, Vince Vaughn, Nicole Ritchie, Pamela Anderson, Eva Mendes, Lindsay Lohan and Terrence Howard.
The folks at VH1 managed to cram a year's worth of water-cooler gossip in a two-hour comedy and variety show capturing and editorializing upon the biggest people, trends and moments of 2004. A celebration of the modern contemporary world; where everything has become Pop Culture. The show taped on December 1st, 2004 at the Shrine Auditorium and aired multiple times on VH1 since its release. Clementine Darling designed a pair of its stiletto earrings - yes, they were popular in 2004 - for the celebrity presenters and performers. Some of the celebs who received these glam earrings along with other Clementine Darling's jewelry are: Eva Longoria and Nicolette Sheridan (Desperate Housewives), Eric McCormack (Will & Grace), Paris Hilton, Joss Stone, Anna Nicole Smith, Sharon Stone, Usher, Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson, Makr Ruffalo, Sam Elliott, P.Diddy, Jamie Foxx, and the members of Velvet Revolver, Green Day, Black-eyed Peas and Maroon 5.

This concert was a celebrity rock event hosted by Kathy Najimby, Melissa Etheridge, Camryn Manheim and others to raise awareness about the importance of voting ... and about the importance of a woman's right to choose. We designed a special bracelet for the event, which was given to celebs like Sheryl Crow, Laura Dern, Brittany Murphy, Ellen De Generes, Nia Vardolos, Tammy Lynn Mchaels, Cheri O'Teri, Rikki Lake, Amy Brenneman, Christina Appelgate and Jessica Capshaw.
One of the most exciting things we did in 2004 to design a line of "tween" pieces which were inspired by the collection we designed specifically for Hilary Duff, for her and the cast of her movie, Find Your Voice, to wear throughout filming and production of the film. Filming started early in 2004 and the movie was released in the Fall of that same year - showing Hilary in the movie trailers wearing a Clementine Darling doublewrap choker! The items we designed for the film include girly bracelets, earrings, necklaces and chokers and are a darling addition to our line ... and a perfect gift for daughters, nieces and other special young girls in all of our lives.
Mod is in and there was nothing more hip in 2004 than the retro look that so many of us were sporting in the 70s. Egads! We were asked to design some special chokers and necklaces especially for this premiere and it was a deviation from what we normally do - and quite fun. We designed chokers and necklaces done on leather and funky rubber cord, featuring peace signs, "flower" power pendants, Yin and Yang pendants and a host of other fun things.
What a fun event! We were asked to attend and design something special for the talent at this relatively new celebration in the music industry. Hosted by Brooke Burns (who dated Bruce Willis at the time) and Ryan Seacrest (everyone's favorite American Idol), it was truly great exposure for us.

We designed some awesome leather chokers showcasing unique pendants - which were a huge hit among celebs. People like Kelly Clarkson, Jewel, Tim McGraw, Juliette Lewis, Nelly, P. Diddy, Beyonce, Bruce Willis and his daughters...and a host of others, came by, ogled our jewelry and picked out their favorite pieces to wear and/or take home for their special girls.

Their custom work for Faith Hill's Grammy Gift Basket made the Clementine Darling's a "don't miss" part of the 2003 annual awards ceremonies hosted by Soap Opera Digest, celebrating the best actors and actresses in this venue. Lisa Rinna, Kelly Ripa, Susan Lucci and a host of other lucky moms were recipients of the Clementine Darling's one-of-a-kind Mother's Name Bracelets....and were thrilled beyond belief!
Clementine Darling's were asked to design a special piece for use by the producers of ABC's popular series -- The Bachelor -- for the 2003 Spring season of the show. We designed a striking Coral & Swarovski Crystal Bracelet, along with a choker featuring black agate nuggets and a darling "rose" center pendant. These pieces were given to the 15 of the finalists participating in the race for the heart of Andrew Firestone - and, if you watched the show, the girls wore them on camera throughout the series
Spinning Grammy Gold into Oscar Gold, the Clementine Darling's were asked to be a part of the 2003 Oscar events! Tapped to design something special for the Oscar Nominees Luncheon, held March 10, 2003 at the Beverly Hills Hilton, the Clementine Darling's did not disappoint. There are now some incredible new pieces - designed especially for that year's nominees, as well as all the celebrity presenters.
Back by popular demand! Clementine Darling's (known then as Whirly Girls) were again selected to participate in the "goodie baskets" which were provided to the media and talent participating in the 2003 Grammy Awards ceremonies, which were held in New York on February 23, 2003. The Darlings designed a plethora of new pieces for this event - including some custom pieces for performer Faith Hill's Grammy gift basket. USA Today covered the Darlings involvement in this event and People magazine (March 10, 2003) featured one of the custom pieces designed for Faith.

Clementine Darling's (known then as Whirly Girls) and their one-of-a-kind jewelry received a tremendous honor in 2002, which helped catapult them to a brand that people instantly began "buzzing" about. That year, five of the Clementine Darling designs were selected for inclusion in the "goodie baskets" which were given to all of the celebrity performers, presenters and all the media covering the 2002 Grammy Awards ceremonies. In conjunction with that honor, the Clementine Darling's' work was featured on national television shows like The Rosie O'Donnell Show, Oprah, Entertainment Tonight and E! They've also been featured in publications like People, In Style and US Magazine. They are very fortunate - and very thankful - for an honor like the Grammy Awards. As a result of their selection for the Grammys, celebrities like Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, The Dixie Chicks, Mary Hart and Cheryl Hines, to name just a few, have been exposed to and love Clementine Darlings' jewelry.
